i'm not sure what you - whoever's reading this - thinks about reincarnation and the concept of past lives, but i've always thought that children who have a tendency to cry a lot are experiencing life for the first time, and children who don't have been reborn. this makes an odd amount of sense to me. the children who cry a lot don't know how to function or act in this world, because they haven't done it yet, and all they currently know is that crying gets them what they want and it's the only mechanism they currently recognise. the children who don't cry a lot have done it all before, and they're just grateful to have a body again.
